Frame rates up to 50 and 60p are supported - even at full 4K resolution.
CION uses AJA’s proven SSD-based Pak storage. The robust high speed compact storage mounts directly in-camera and allows recording of 4K/UHD and 2K/HD as ProRes 4444, ProRes 422 (HQ), ProRes 422, ProRes 422 (LT) and ProRes (Proxy).
Learn from Apple official site, we know that FCP X 10.1 can support editing and monitoring 4K video, including 4K ProRes, Sony XAVC and REDCODE RAW. But the point here is, Final Cut Pro 7 still uses 1080p as primary delivery format and will continue to do so for a long time. To import and edit AJA CION 4K clips in FCP 7 smoothly, you are advised to convert and downscale 4K to 1080p from AJA Cion for FCP 7 before editing.
